"ENGRAVED TIS-61 ?" FRUIT KNIFE BY: TIFFANY CIRCA 1870

This   Fruit Knife is very simular to the TIS-61 pattern  by: Tiffany except that this pattern makes a ovel car-touch loop at the top for a monogram. It is a extremely rare unlisted pattern by Tiffany and very early. This Fruit Knife is rarely found or offered for sale The knife is  7 1/2" long and has a full serrated blade and weighs in at 47 g, right around 1 1/2 .oz..It has a really COOL monogram (1854 / 1879) which show that it was a twenty fifth anniversary gift to some lucky person. It shows that the Fruit Knife is 140 years old...It is a beautiful old spiece of Sterling Silver with a great mono  and no dings or scratches. Usually I take monograms off for people but in this case and out of respect for the unknown family I will not do so.
