Regal Food Caddy Cake and Pie Carrier

Mid-Century homemakers used Regal Food Caddies to take their homemade cakes and pies to picnics, family parties and church socials. Regal promoted it for use as an open roaster or for casserole dishes and to store cakes, pies, bread or other baked goods. It measure 9.5" high at it's black plastic handle and 11.25" in diameter. The patina of the aluminum and a couple minor dents attest to it's age and it's many years of service. The bottom compartment and cake plate can be used without the cake compartment lid or it can be used to carry a pie or rolls with top cake carrier compartment clamped on. The bottom is marker Regal Quality Aluminum REGAL WARE INC. KEWASKUM, WIS.
