It is sturdily made of high grade steel specially plated to prevent rust. 5 discs slice, chop, shreds, grates and finely grates. The box is marked Mouli MFG. Corp 91 Broadway,Jersey City 6, N.J. The utensil is embossed Made in France Mouli-Julienne BREVETE SGDG U,S,PAT. 2 528 381 CANADIAN PAT. 487 082 485 685 a "MOUILI" PRODUCT OTHER PAT.PEND. The only imperfections I've found is a scratch on the red wooden ball handle and the the rubber on the feet is cracked.
