Deer Hunter Cartoon 1949 This is a November 1949 Cartoon. It is a nice color cartoon by R. Osborn. First picture shows the hunter in waist high brush walking along with the deer walking behind him. Reads, The well trained deer hunter moves with silent, steel tread, keen eyes searching the thicket for the prey, which is usually just behind him. Second picture shows the American deer, which presents a simple target when standing still. Third picture shows the deer hunter falling out of the tree on the deer and it reads, Deer love to graze in grassy dells. The hunter, if ensconced in a tree, is expeted to kill them with a well directed arrow, rather than crushing them to death by falling down on them. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the cartoon This original magazine tear sheet measures 9 3/4 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
