David Dirrim Bronze Vase with Red Lacquered Patina

$3,500.00
Quantity available: 1

Our wonderful bronze vase by David Dirrim with verdigris interior and lacquered sang-de-boeuf patina measures an impressive 20 1/2 inches tall.  Underside signed David 1990 3/5.

There are a handful of small chip losses to the lacquered surface, plus scratches and scuffs that could be polished out.

The artist achieved a Master of Fine Arts from Colorado State University in the 1980s, and launched Renaissance Bronze Ltd., a bronze foundry in Pueblo, Colorado, where he cast figurative and abstract works in bronze.

Dirrim was active in the 1980s and 1990s and possibly later. He exhibited at Hoag Gallery at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center, the Cultural Exchange Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona, among others across the U.S.
