This is an early Craftsman brand hand saw marked "CRAFTSMAN SPECIAL SAW STEEL HAND MADE PATENT GROUND MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP UNCONDITIONALLY GUARENTTEED AMERICA FINEST QUALITY MASTER SAW MADE IN USA 124". That's quite a statement of quality! The saw has 10 teeth per inch and is used, but fairly sharp, with no teeth broken or missing. The handle appears to have had a heavy thick stain & lacquer finish of which about 40% remains intact. The handle has no cracks, is tight to the blade and has some small dings and corner edge wear. The steel blade is clean, rust free, with some minor pitting on less than 5% of the total surface. A good user saw, and looks good too!
