Craftsman Block Plane like Stanley No. 220 Sears

$34.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a nice, clean Craftsman plane, basically the same size and shape of a Stanley No. 220 plane, but only marked on the blade "SEARS MADE IN ENGLAND 187.37161", no other makers names or logos on this plane. Stanley did manufacture planes like the No. 220 in England in the 1970’s. The plane has about 99% of the original Japanning on the main casting, and about 99% like new blade. The front knob appears to be made of hard rubber, in great shape. The cutter is sharp and ready to use. No rust or pitting, was most likely never used. Overall a very nice plane!
SIZE:7" LONG x 1.62" wide cutter
MFG. DATE: 1970's
CONDITION: Very Good, No rust, or cracks, minimal wear, a past owner’s name lightly etched on one side.
