"Cobridge" pattern lid with hand painted details over stencil. Intense colors with cobalt blue accents and metallic gold. May have fit a sugar bowl, as there are no vent holes for steam to escape as with a teapot lid. Marked "Spode Copeland's China/ England"; uncertain of date, though circa 1900. Measures 2.75" x 3.5" to outer edges. No chips or cracks. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
