Columbia Graphophone Musics Message Ad 1918 This is a November 1918 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Columbia Graphophone Company of New York. Picture is of students in class at Dearing High School in Portland, Maine. Instructor is playing a record on the Grafonola and it reads, Columbia Educational records bring to boys and girls the opportunity to develop to the fullest extent the power to hear, in music, the complement of their inner and outer experiences. This player is an upright unit with regular legs on the front but wheels on the back so it can be pushed. It is called a Pushmobile. Great old ad. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 inches tall.
