Cobblers Lasting Pliers, Hammer 9 inch

$38.00
Quantity available: 1

This is an good useable, clean, cobbler's combination lasting pliers that is not marked by the manufacturer. We assume the 4 refers to a model number since the pliers are 9.25" long overall, with .5" wide jaws that taper toward the point to about 3/8". These pliers have the hammer (about 1.2" diameter at the largest point), and the curved pliers jaws do touch together when closed around the middle teeth area of the jaws. The pliers show some minor wear, mainly minor staining or darkening of the bare steel finish, the jaw serrations (teeth) are intact and nice, minor wear, not cracked, no rust, a good snug pivot joint, some minor wear on the hammer, very good shape for use. A rare and early design! We were not able to find much about this plier's maker or the specific age of this type, but most in this design are from the early 1900's era.
