Chinese Large Blue & White Ginger Jar with Wooden Lid and Carved Stand

Chinese Large Blue & White Ginger Jar with Wooded Lid and Stand.     It is very heavy looks more like stoneware then porcelain.  It is hand painted underglaze.  There are many small pits and some of the blue has bleed out a little.      I have been told that is because it is handcrafted.     There is no signatures which is not unusual.    It is   9" tall x 8" wide without the stand or lid.  But with the stand and lid it is 10.75" tall.    It weighs about 5 pounds 9 oz. unboxed   the lid shows some wear and there is a very small crack on the wood.     The stand that it sits on is ornatey carved.

The dimensions and weight posted below are the approximate size of the packaging to calculate the shipping.   Please refer to the description for the actual size of the item.  The shipping quoted includes the handling, insurance and delivery confirmation.  To give you an idea on shipping of a particular item please refer to the size and weight.   I ship from Seattle, Zip Code 98103.      Most items will be sent USPS Priority Mail despite the website's auto calculation for FED EX Ground.  The shipping weight and size on many of the older inventory is not filled in.  Please ask me to avoid surprises.    In addition some of the older inventory may have an outdated shipping quote that many need to update.    Please send me an email for updated shipping information.
