This lovely Chinese porcelain vase in the famille verte style features the figures of females and children at play with butterflies.  The gilt bronze mounts in the Louis XV style come from E.F. Caldwell and carry the familiar mark of the C in diamond lozenge.  30 in (76.2 cm) tall and 10 in (25.4 cm) across.
