Large and heavily Carved Stone Rock Apple. Perfect to use as a paperweight or put on display. The color mix is mainly brown with some green. This highly prized stone is mined in a specific area in China. Some people call it Shoushan Jade or Shouhan Soapstone. It is neither. The correct name is just Shoushan. It has highly prized throughout history for intricate carving of seals and decorative items for royalty.
The condition is good. It does have a few scratches & nicks here and there especially on some of the edges of the design.
