Carved Russian  Babushka  Folk Art signed chipped wood.   It is signed on the bottom but I cannot decipher  what it say but it looks like Russian words . Although I could be way off.       She is about 9" tall with exaggerated large hands .  She is holding a cloth in over her arm and the other hand is holding a book.   

The condition  is excellent
