It is an answer to a previous contest titled How They Saved Shirley At center left is the Problem and grouped around it are the three prize winning cartoons The problem in this contest is Shirley is a window washer on tall buildings. His safety belt breaks and he is beginning to fall. Solution is he grabs one of the ends of the broken belt and it reads, Shirley knew that the end was near so he grabbed it. Problem picture is signed by John Jarvis. .Solution picture is signed by Brown In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the cartoon. this magazine tear sheet measures 8 1/8 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall.
