Cartoon Contest How They Saved Jeann Jacques 1933 This is an August 1933 cartoon. It is a nice black and white cartoon . It is an answer to a previous contest titled How they saved Jean Jacques. At center left is the Problem and grouped around it are the three prize winning cartoons The problem in this contest was a man sitting on a log in the woods and a bear comes up behind him. The solution, Jacques stripped and made himself a little bare - that is a little bear. Problem picture is signed by Blanchard and solution picture is signed by Hubbler. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the cartoon. this magazine tear sheet measures 8 1/4 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall.
