Our Art Deco period silver smoking set, circa 1920s, features two ash trays and spring-loaded compartment with lighter within a box with with press-on lid and pull-down front panel with handle crafted from ivory with lapis lazuli cabuchon sonte, and feet crafted from ivory. Stamped minerva large guarantee mark indicating .950 purity. Marked Cartier plus the stamped marker's mark depicting interlocking Cs in diamond with large center C and smaller S above and A below, and number 20163. In good condition, with expected degree of rubbing wear, oxidation, scratches, and surface grime in crevices and on ivory surfaces. This estate-fresh item will look spectacular with gentle cleaning and polishing. Lid fits snugly. Front panel opens and closes precisely.
