Carpenter's Slick Crank Neck 1.5 inch

$70.00
Quantity available: 1

Offering this quality vintage, 1.5" carpenter's slick/chisel (with the cranked or bent neck designed to give user more clearance in certain applications) which is not marked by the original maker. Buck Brothers did make some cranked neck slicks in the 1960's to 70's era, but I am not sure this chisel is made by them.  Although this carpenter slick has light  staining and pitting on the steel surfaces, it is in mostly useable shape on the bottom cutting edge area with only minor pitting on less than 10% of the bottom surface. The edge is sharp, could use some light honing. The steel is 11.5" long overall, and with the handle is a total of 16.3" long. The handle is solid hardwood a good leather ring end cap, solid, no damage, and fits the socket tightly.   A good useable heavy duty chisel!
