This is a good sharp carving gouge chisel that measures .8 wide at the cutting edge x 9.9" long. It is an out channel sharpened chisel with plenty of good use left in it. Marked "BUCK BROS CAST STEEL" on the steel. A nice tanged gouge chisel that I purchase with others from a former pattern maker. The steel has some minor pitted areas, but none that will effect the cutting edge. The handle is solid, no cracks, and a good brass ferrule. A nice full sweep gouge chisel, by a quality maker!
