A lovely old brooch or possibly a sash pin. Circa 1919. It is a large, hollow brooch. It appears to be stamped brass with an applied stamped brass plaque, all with a gold wash. The applied plaque has lost most of it's gold finish. The pin stem has been bent and straightened back out. It is still in working order. Even with it's flaws, especialy considering it's age,it is still a lovely brooch to wear on your coat or jacket or if you are into vintage clothing, at the waist as a sash pin. It measures aprox. 2 3/4" across. I have a second, identical brooch, in a little better condition.
