Here is a beautiful bar pin. It has been modified from a man's ring into a bar pin. It has no hall mark, but tests at 14k or higher gold content. The subject of the carved tiger eye cameo is an etruscan or Norse man with excellent detail to the carving of the facial features and beard. The ring dates probably from the 1830's to 1850's, and most likely was modified into a bar pin in the late 1880's. The bar pin stem is not marked for metal content, but is probably sterling. It measures approx. 2 1/4"X1/2". The shipping fees quoted are for priority/Insured in USA.
