Quantity available: 1

Figural flower stem holder, otherwise known as a "frog", in the image of a young boy playing a flute. Marked "Paulux" and "Made in Japan" in red script lettering. Stands 7.25"h. Hand painted, circa 1950's. Has some crazing to the glaze, and 4 small chips to various places. The largest chip (flake) measures 1/8"d to the plant behind him (not visible from the front). The others are 1/16"d to the lower end of the flute, and to the curls on the top of his head. Sold "AS IS". Overall, a lovely piece that's not easy to find.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
