Bizarre Scarab beetle Gothic ring HUGE Blood red 14ct Garnet marcasites and sterling setting amulet

A very aesthetic piece, this massive ring has the deepest reg garnet stone center that is almost blood red in the center. YOu can see all the critters standing guard over this huge stones. There are marcasites on the back of each scarab and between them are smaller garnets. It is a very baroque goliath ring that is surely not for the shy. This is a size 7 1/2. This huge setting stands up 1/2" off your finger ( see ruler) and measures 1 1/4" x 1" on top looking down. The scarab was the emissary of the sun, symbolizing light, truth, and regeneration. ANd this ring certainly brings those virtues to light!
