Beautiful Westmoreland Milk Glass GWTW Lamp Base - Puffy Poppy Pattern
This is a gorgeous Milk Glass Gone with the Wind lamp in a Poppy pattern. This is the bottom part only as the top globe and chimney are missing but being this is white almost any globe would look great with it. Measures 11" tall to the top of the socket and has all original parts. The glass globe part is approximately 6" high. This is a three way lamp as both the top and bottom would light up in all combinations. Top light takes a regular light bulb and the bottom takes a small night light bulb. Looks very pretty if you put a colored night light bulb or Christmas light bulb in the bottom to give it a nice color when only that part is used. Has a pretty raised poppy pattern alternating with a scroll pattern all around the globe. This lamp was found in Betty Newbound's Milk Glass price guide valued at $246-265 if complete but they don't list the makers name or pattern in the book, but was told it's made by Westmoreland glass. I also have another one of these lamps in my store which is intact with both top and bottom parts including the chimney. I am pricing this at less than half the price of the other lamp as this is pretty much half a lamp! A wonderful addition to any victorian or shabby chic decor!
