Bates Mfg. Rule Steel 6 inch Antique

This is a rare 6" long steel rule marked "BATES MFG. CO. ORANGE MASS. MADE IN U.S.A.". It is in good condition with some corner wear and minor pitting noted, a past owner's name on one side. It is .037" thick x .76" wide. No rust, some age darkening on the steel, good marking and graduation lines, in 8ths, 16ths, 32nds, and 64ths inch, different markings on each edge.
