Antique Barber Shop Shaving Mug Personalized R. C. Sanborn

$120.00
Quantity available: 1

Personalized shaving mug used in a barber shop. Hand-painted with forget-me-not bouquet and metallic gold lettering and trim. Burgundy red base. Belonged to "R. C. Sanborn", purported to be the president of Minot State Bank of North Dakota, circa 1906, though no paperwork to verify this. Mug is most likely German made, but only marks are those of the decorator's numbers. Measures 3.25"h x 3.5"d. No damage, but some wear to the gold on the highpoints. Price recently reduced.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
