B F Goodrich Meet The Dragon Wagon Ad 1944 This is a April 29, 1944 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from B F Goodrich Company of Akron, Ohio. Dragon Wagon is what the soldiers call this tank recovery unit. It is a mammoth truck trailer powered by an army designed tractor, big enough to carry a 30 ton General Sherman tank on its back. On the battlefield the dragon wagon is used to haul away disabled tanks, carry them behind the lines to a repair depot. For combat service special tires were developed of extra thick rubber. Nice picture In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 inches tall.
