B F Goodrich Man of Year Ad 1943 This is a June 21, 1943 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Hood Rubber Company a division of B F Goodrich. Ad shows a different looking man whose name is Mr. GRS. It reads, Introducing the man of the year, Mrs. GRS. His body is made of a hot water bottle, he has a boot on one foot and a shoe on the other. He is holding a tire in one hand and his other hand is a garden hose and nozzle. His body parts are parts from the Hood Rubber Company. Footwear Laboratories and factory of Watertown, Mass. He is really different. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 14"" tall.
