Gorgeous!!! One of a kind functional as well as decorative "Treasure" box. The artist constructs each box, they are not purchased. Each is completely hand made from design conception to the embellishments. No two are ever identical. She uses all types of fabric,vintage when possible, vintage and antique items,found items of every discription,lace,jewelry,silk flowers,etc. to "paint" a wonderful 3-D collage on each box. This piece is a large, egg shaped box with a sloping lid. The colors are primarily an olive green and peach with beige accents. The base is covered in a green floral/lid is covered in a tone on tone beige stripe. It measures aprox. 14"L.X11W.X8"H.(back)X5"H.(front). The collage has fringe,silks,buttons,beads,cording,old broken watches,ribbon and more. Really quite beautiful. Photos do not do it justice. Must see to really appreciate.
