This Art Deco period chandelier in wrought iron and glass is done in the manner of Paul Kiss. It features its original geometric shaped frosted glass globes by the Paris firm Verrerie d' Art Degue which are marked "Degue". Lamp dates from the late 1920s to mid 1930s and was imported from France by our client roughly ten years ago. It measures 38" high and 27" across. Degue was founded in 1926 by David Gueron who founded the Cristalleries de Compiegne glassworks factory in the early 1920s. Degue competed with Schneider, Muller Freres, Galle and Daum, and closed after the end of WWII.
