Japanese 19th Century Bronze grouping of the Meiji Period of tigers attacking an elephant. The entire sculpture is done in multi-colored bronze, the elephant having large ivory tusks, all on a heavily carved original teak wood base. The sculpture is signed in Japanese on the belly of the elephant. Dimensions: 19" across x 22" high x 11" deep.
