Antique Military postcard Victorian Large Artillery Gun and Loader Etablissements Schneider Blank Unused Collector. This vintage postcard is in good condition. There is a photo of the front and back so you can see postmarks, cancellations, writing, images and condition. This postcard is of a large artillery piece and man tending the gun. Says Etablissements schneider and Canon de 75 de Campagne on the front. On the back it says The Allied Bazaar, Grand Central Palace, New York City. This is , we believe, a Schneider-manufactured "Canon de 75mm Mle 1912" used by French cavalry and the Serbian army, and its 1914 modification. Although they used the original French 75's ammunition, these privately manufactured Schneider guns were lighter, smaller, and mechanically different. Sold as found.We are not postcard experts. Jim
