Antique Islamic Bowl, Nishapur Ceramic Iran
An early Islamic Splash Glazed ceramic bowl in Tang-Dynasty style, Iran, Nishapur, 10th century A.D. Details: earthenware, wheel-thrown, covered with engobe, decoration in sgraffito technique and glazed with colorless and colored glaze.
CONDITION: repaired clean breaks, small areas of restoration.
MEASUREMENTS: Diameter: 21cm (8 ¼ in.). Height: 6 cm (2 3/8 in.).
