ANtique Georgian Cannetille cascading HUGE Necklace

Cannetille work was a popular Georgian style of metalsmithing, being made up of a lacy, open filigree consisting of tightly wound twisted gold wires, forming a coiled spiral that resembles spun gold. This huge cascading antique pendant necklace has amazing wire work that has lacey flower work and layers of this gorgeous cannetille on this 7 1/4" long pendant ( from top to bottom drop). A highly ornate enamel and brass chain creates the most dramatic effect with golden hues. This drops down quite a way on your chest ( see mannequin). The fancy enamel and brass chain measures 22" long with an additional 7 1/4" for the tiered chandelier huge drops. Two medieval looking brass solid drops on the top hang from two cannetille side connectors which balance this when worn. Th largest pendant drop is a whopping 2 3/4" wide. THis is a piece that is very dramatic and large so if you are shy about big necklaces then please look again at the dimensions. Much prettier than the photos this is a fabulous necklace.
