Antique French Sevres Style Porcelain Table

This antique metal table with painted porcelain decoration in the French Sevres style measures 30.25" high and 19.25" in diameter (76.8 by 48.9 cm). It dates from the late nineteenth century to early twentieth century and features a hand-painted courtship scene on top, and hand-painted floral decoration along the stalk. There is noticeable wear to the gilded decoration that surrounds the scene. Table is structurally sound with no need for repair or restoration. A decorative metal bracket applied to the three-legged base is the only known repair, and the table has its original casters. This item resides in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment. Thanks for visiting.
