The scuttle's design is quite lovely and has a solid brass incised lid, solid brass body, solid brass decorative feet, and the original steel lift-out liner. The Antique English Solid Brass Coal Scuttle measures, 16.00 inches H X 12.00 inches W X 12.00 inches D, and although originally intended to hold coal, this scuttle could be adapted to hold kindling wood, or change the venue completely and use it as an ice bucket.
