Tea tile from the American Encaustic Tiling Company's series of nursery rhyme images designed by Walter Crane. Here is "Little Bo-Peep" in terrific color. The tile is in very good condition with very little wear. The original color transfer had some shrinkage in the area of the sky as shown. There is a slight stress crack in the back of the tile that goes through slightly and appears at the right edge just below the moon--hardly noticeable. Please write with any questions you may have.
