Allison We got Them Ad 1945 This is a June 9, 1945 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Allison Division of General Motors. Ad shows picture of the aircraft motor and Pilots talking to one another. They are talking about their last trip. We came at them out of the sun, peeled off, gave them the works and were upstairs again in a jiffy.Boy that Allison is an engine. Powered by Allison is the P38 Lightning, the P39 Airacobra, the P40 Warhawk and the A36 and P51A Mustang. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
