It is a nice black and white ad from The All American Soap Box Derby for 1936 sponsored by Americas leading newspapers and the Chevrolet Motor Company. In this ad they are urging contestants to make plans to enter the Derby. Ad reads, At Akron this summer, on August 16th this boy will get into a four wheel coaster wagon, that he built himself, the starters gun will flash and he will coast down a smooth, fast hill to finish ahead of all others, to become national champion of the All American Soap Box Derby. Are you the boy. Shows picture of crown and a boy in a soap box wagon. Races will be held in over 100 cities. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 8 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall.
