Abigail Adams by Madame Alexander (14 inch Doll)
She was created 1976 as part of the First Ladies Collection by Madame Alexander. Abigail is a 14 inch doll in a purple brocade dress with lace accents. Notice her pearl necklace and the rhinestone pin on her white lace fichu! Underneath is a white petticoat and white pantaloons trimmed with lace. Her blonde hairdo is perfection threaded with a blue velvet ribbon.
This collectable doll is the wife of President John Adams. She is part of the first series of six dolls, depicting the First Ladies, which were offered by Madame Alexander during the period 1976 through 1978. Abigail served as First Lady from 1797 to 1801.
The condition is very good. She comes without her original box. She has her tag that is more like a booklet and someone has written some information regarding the collectible value.
