24kt GILT porcelain BIG Victorian Fancy Brooch

$35.00
Quantity available: 1
During the Victorian era 18 and 24 gold was put into a paint and used on cameos and painted porcelain. I have to say I have never seen one that is FULLY covered in this wonder paint with embossing . Not only has it been painted and monogrammed but if you look close you can see how they textured it. This measures almost 2 ½" long and is much prettier than the photos as the gold shines when it hitÂ’s the light. This is a true antique that is heavy and well made and a wonderful example of the artistry from that period. There are a few tiny spots where you can see porcelain. The back is brass.
