18th Century English Porcelain Potpourri Vases

Unavailable

Our pair of porcelain potpourri vases date from the eighteenth century, are unsigned and believed to be of English origin.

They feature vases decorated with female masks and numerous large flower heads, plus the painted designs of butterflies and other insects toward the base, and reticulated lids decorated with flowers with songbird finials.

They have extensive restorations throughout, particularly to many of the floral petals near the base of each. There a number of breaks to the floral petals on the lids and sides of each vase.
