18944 Victorian Burl Walnut Inlaid Marble Top Sideboard

We are pleased to be offering today is this beautiful Victorian inlaid burl walnut white and gray grained marble top extra fancy triple mirror carved back triple mirror door sideboard that dates from the 1880’s in original condition. We have been buying some really nice items on the Cape lately, just like this piece. This particular piece has a breakfront where the marble steps out in the middle, carved pillars coming down through the center door, outside doors and right across the top is all burl walnut with dainty inlaid trim. The two doors open on the base to expose a shelf interior. The center is the mirror panel with the pillars and is not a door. You have a double door front and a center with carved pillars. The looking glass is scratched and worn, which adds charm and character. The inlaid appears to be in nice shape. The mirrors on the top are pretty decent. The overall size of the marble is 53 inches wide, 15 inches deep on the outside of the marble, 16.5 inches deep in the center, 34 inches high on the base, 37 inches high on the top and a total height of approximately 71 inches high overall. It is in nice condition. It is missing a small piece of molding on the side of the base on both sides, which must be due to clearance. It is simple pieces of walnut that can easily be replaced. There is no key. The overall condition of the marble is good. The overall case is good. It would be a great addition to anyone’s dining room.
