18197 Two Unusual Ceramic Tile Top Stands - 1930s
We are pleased to be offering today this most unusual couple of walnut stain stands that we have ever seen. Someone has actually taken ceramic tile and made tops, I believe they took the original tops off but I'm not sure because they are done so well that it could have been done by a factory worker that wanted a challenge. These two tables came out of a home in western Maine and they have the same red ceramic tile that you would see in the 1930's and 1940's. The stands need a good tightening and polishing, which we will do prior to shipping if desired. It is a shame that these were not polished as the finish is all good and would shine. The design is 1930's. The oval stand is the nicest one and really what we are asking for the pair is what the oval one is worth. The oval stand is 24 inches long by 14 inches deep and 25 inches high. The demi lune stand is 25 inches by 13 inches by 24 inches high. They are most unusual and would make great conversation pieces. Shipping starts at $95 for a driveway delivery in our standard area.
