17905 Victorian Split Pedestal Banquet Table – Opens 10 Feet!

$1,950.00
Quantity available: 1

We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful Victorian gorgeous wide bevel edge 45 inch round solid black walnut Civil War era split pedestal banquet table that dates from the 1860s to 1870s in what appears to be the original finish. I still can not believe that people took care of these pieces well enough that the original finish can survive over 100 years later. It comes with three 15 inch wide ogee bevel edge leaves. The table when closed is 45 inches round and 29.5 inches tall. It has a split pedestal base with a center leg for added strength and stability when the table is extended. If you look at the base, you can see fancy cut out carved multi-molded edge legs with carved rosette appliques on the sides of the legs and on the sides of the feet. It is a dark walnut finish on the base and the top is lighter from being exposed to the sunlight over the years. The cool thing about this table is that it becomes 90 inches long with the three leaves installed, but it can open another 30 inches if you want to purchase additional leaves. It is a stunning table. We can provide a quote for additional leaves or refinishing if you email us your intent. Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
