We are pleased to be offering today a split base dining room table that is most likely a Hastings and dates from the 1900s to 1910s. It came out of a home in Portland, Maine where it was for many years. Unfortunately they put a heavy coat of poly or something similar and most likely the person that buys this would like it professionally refinished unless they have young kids. The table is all tiger sawn oak and comes with two factory leaves. The table is 48 inches around. The leaves are 8 inches wide. It has a center leg and I do not how wide it would open as the poly finish has sealed it shut. I would assume that it would open to around 90 inches long. We can quote for refinishing and building extra leaves if the buyer so desires. The table is 48 inches round and 28 inches tall. It does not have any castors. It has a split pedestal base and a center leg for support. We are in the process of listing twenty dining room tables in Oak, Mahogany and Victorian Walnut so check our other listings! Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
