We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful Victorian civil war era solid black walnut up and down multi-stage high chair/stroller. It dates from the 1860's to 1870's. I go out of my way to find these particular high chairs as they are tough to find. They normally have a stamped on date on the footrest and I can not tell if it is there or not as someone refinished and re-caned it in the last few years. It is in real nice condition. Every thing is original except the finish and the cane seat. It has the original back crest, foot rest, tray and wheels. The overall size is 15 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 37 inches high when it is a high chair. It will go down into a stroller and then the next level will bring it down into a rocker. It is a great multi-purpose piece. The new refinish and caning probably cost the previous owner $300.00. So take advantage of the money they invested! Shipping starts at $110 for a driveway delivery in our normal area. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal delivery area.
