Carragaline Pottery Dublin Souvenir Shamrock cup

Irish Pottery was manufactured in County 1979. This pretty little 1 3/4" cup is marked on the bottom with Carrigaline's shamrock mark, and is presumablly a souvenir of Dublin. The rim is embellished with gold, and "Dublin" is printed near the top rim. Some have called it an egg cup, but it seems tiny for that purpose. The cup is in excellent condition.
