Zippo Lighter Crash Landed At Bougainville Ad 1962 This is a October 12, 1962 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Zippo Manufacturing Company of Bradford, Pa. Ad shows someone holding a lit lighter with a P-38 Plane on the side and it reads, Lt H J Robertson of Sebring Florida safely landed his flak-torn P-38. then returned to duty. So did his 1942 Zippo lighter. This Zippo crash landed at Bougainville in 1944. Still works today. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 wide by 14 tall
