This Provincial chestnut armoire, circa 1770's, with an arched moulded cornice, two conforming panelled doors with elaborate steel mounts and hinges, the serpentine apron carved with central shield-shaped design and panelled sides on scroll feet. Its interior is fitted with three shelves covered in blue and white toile de joui fabric. Width 60 in. by depth 23 in. by height 103 1/2 in.
